I know, I know – “dacha” is the Russian word for a country cottage. Not much to do with schools – but I like the sound of “dacha.com,” and since when does a blog’s name need to match its content, right?
(BTW, to the people looking to buy this URL: Your offer needs to be significant. Like pay-off-my-mortgage significant.)
I taught middle and high school English for 16 years and for the last 25 have helped schools and districts and states with their improvement initiatives.
Initially this blog’s audience was parents – to assist and inform them as they interact with their kids’ schools and school districts – but it has evolved and now I hope that all people interested in K-12 get something from it.
